  • What is Karate?

    Karate is a self-defense and unarmed combat system that focuses on the weak parts of the attacker’s body.

  • Why should I do Karate?

    Aside from the obvious benefits of self-defence and fitness, our traditional Japanese style of Karate builds respect, courtesy, self-control, and improves self-discipline and confidence. For children it can help with concentration and behaviour at home and in the classroom. For adults it’s a great way to relieve stress and learn something new.

  • When can I start Karate?

    Our dojo is open year-round. Classes are always open for new students. The classes are mixed ages and are sorted by belt level. 5:30pm - 6:20pm White – Orange and 6:30pm - 7:20pm Orange to Black

  • What is a Kata?

    Is a Japanese word for detailed choreographed patterns of movements practiced either for solo or in pairs.

  • What is Goshin Jujitsu?

    Goshin Jujitsu originated from a traditional Ju Jutsu and provides a complete training for a defense in almost all situations.

  • What is Shorinji Ryu?

    Shorinji Ryu has mixed elements of free fighting, pressure point attacks, and grappling. Shorin-Ryu is based on the practice of kata.
